This article should probably be one that everyone should read. Especially students in college who will be graduating soon and looking for a job out in the real world. This article makes you think about what your posting and actually who is looking at it.

ReplyDeleteWow. Yeah my boyfriend is a Golf Coach at a High school, and his boss wanted to add him on Facebook. I told him not to add him, not because of my boyfriends pictures or anything he writes, but because you never know what his friends will comment on his page or what pictures he is tagged in. Also if any one uses facebook I would put up all kinds of saftey.
ReplyDeleteThis is something that I don't have to worry about because I don't have a facebook or myspace account. It is common since though to not put post photographs of yourself that you would not want an employer to look at. I have heard about a few people that have gotten fired due to their my space pages. People need to learn to use common since.
ReplyDeleteOn the other side, in this world of instant access to just about any personal data someone might want, it seems that someone is always watching. Facebook and Myspace just make it easier for them to do so.
